With this idea as her starting point, Dr. Patricia Martínez has built a career marked by the constant pursuit of naturalness and balance in every procedure. Her approach goes beyond visible results, delving into the emotional impact surgery has on her patients, whom she accompanies with both empathy and high professional standards.
From her earliest days in medicine, she knew that her vocation was linked to improving people’s quality of life. Over time, this commitment evolved into a specific specialization: facial surgery.
“Cervicofacial facelift surgery particularly attracted me because it allows for highly visible results while remaining elegant and natural,” she explains.
The complexity of this technique, one of the most demanding procedures in aesthetic surgery, presented a challenge that she chose to embrace with determination.
Along this path, the guidance of her mentor, Dr. Concha Albert, played a key role in shaping her professional development. Since then, Patricia Martínez has established her own distinctive approach, based on surgical precision and active listening to each patient.
“I need to understand their concerns,” she says, making it clear that the process begins long before entering the operating room.
As a result, her practice is defined by this personalized approach, in which every case is carefully evaluated to avoid artificial-looking outcomes.
“My main goal is to provide harmonious and natural results while always respecting each patient’s identity,” she emphasizes. This philosophy translates into procedures designed to enhance rather than transform, with medical decisions guided by balance and proportion.
The Value of Judgment and Honesty
Beyond technical expertise, Dr. Martínez highlights several qualities that she considers essential for excellence in her specialty. Continuous education, surgical experience, and mastery of new techniques are indispensable, but not sufficient.
“In facial surgery, less is more, and knowing where the balance lies makes all the difference.”

Receiving the Excellence Award in Cervicofacial Lift is the result of this sustained commitment. “It is a very important recognition of many years of work and daily dedication.” However, rather than viewing it as a final destination, she sees it as “an incentive to maintain the highest standards.”
At the same time, Dr. Patricia Martínez identifies clear challenges within her specialty. One of the most significant is the trivialization of aesthetic surgery and the misinformation surrounding the field.
“It is essential that patients are well informed and seek treatment from qualified professionals,” she warns.
Safety and sound medical judgment therefore become non-negotiable pillars of practice.
Her own challenge is to continue evolving without losing sight of her core principles. The adoption of new techniques and continuous improvement are part of her everyday work.
