These days aesthetic medicine<\/u><\/a> treatments are widely used amongst both men and women. A large proportion of the population undergoes one of these non-surgical treatments with the aim of improving their image in order to look better.<\/p>\n

However, there are different trends for one or other of these treatments in relation to the patient\u2019s age, although all of them can benefit patients of any age.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Aesthetic medicine treatments by age<\/strong><\/h3>\n

From 18 to 35 years old<\/h4>\n

We see that the younger patients ranging in age from 18 to 35 mainly opt for profiling and lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid. This is a very common procedure and we perform it in patients of all ages and both sexes, although women tend to request it more often.<\/p>\n

From 30 to 45<\/h4>\n

In the 30 to 45 age range, apart from lip augmentation, there is a strong trend to carry out softening treatments. These usually concern the reduction of furrows<\/a> with hyaluronic acid <\/strong>(nasolabial furrows between the nose and the corners of the mouth) bags under the eyes\u2026And also the shaping and augmentation of facial structures are frequently requested, such as cheeks and chins.<\/p>\n

In many patients in this age range treatment with botulinum toxin<\/u><\/a> is highly recommended. Botox relaxes facial expression wrinkles, softens furrows between the eyebrows, crow\u2019s feet and relaxes forehead wrinkles. It can also be used to lift the eyebrows. When applied correctly it gives an overall result that freshens and relaxes our appearance.<\/p>\n

Older than 45<\/h4>\n

We could say that botulinum toxin is the star treatment for patients over the age of 45. In this age range facial wrinkles become more prominent. Treatment with botox is widely accepted and highly satisfying both for men and women. For men it has the same indications as it does for women, although we take into account the different features of male facial expression.<\/p>\n

Patients over 45 also request furrow filling treatments. Furthermore, they tend to opt for improvements to the oval facial shape using hyaluronic acid.<\/p>\n

Complementary treatments<\/h4>\n

And finally, there are other complimentary treatments that are used for all age groups and that treat skin rejuvenation through peeling and mesotherapy <\/a>using vitamins\/ hyaluronic acid.
